KINGSTON, May 10: Jamaica has named a strong 15-man squad, including eight Test players, for next Tuesday's one-day match against touring Indian team at Jarrett Park.

Wavell Hinds, West Indian batsman, will captain the hosts.

Brian Breese, Jamaica Cricket Association’s cricket operations manager, said there is possibility all eight Test players may not take part.

“West Indies team will play Indians two days after Montego Bay game so West Indies Cricket Board could well ask one or two of players named to sit out the game. Nonetheless, it should be a very strong Jamaican team,” he said.

He said Xavier Marshall, Jamaican opener, was not included owing to a suspension from his parish team while Dwight Washington, fast bowler, is away in the United States.
