SARGODHA, May 10: The district police have registered a case against PML-N Punjab president Sardar Zulfikar Ali Khosa, MNA Maimoona Hashmi and 600 other leaders and activists of the party on the charge of delivering provocative speeches against the government.

The FIRs have been lodged by the urban area and Cantonment police and the teams are raiding houses for the arrest of the PML-N nominated leaders.

Chaudhry Shahnawaz Ranjha, the PML-N district president, said they had launched movement for the revival of democracy on the directions of the party chief, Mian Nawaz Sharif.

KILN UNITS: In order to curb bonded labour in the kilns, the district government has decided to register the kiln units.

District Nazim Inamul Haq Piracha has directed the labour department to provide details of kiln workers so that their rights could be protected.

He said the federal government had provided Rs1.2 million for provision of appropriate healthcare to kiln workers and their children.
