ISLAMABAD, May 10: Salman Javed has taken over as managing director Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) on Tuesday. He has vast experience in travel and tourism trade.
Mr Javed was a member of the Tourism Council SAARC Chamber. He has also served as director PIA, honorary joint secretary general, South Asia Tourism Association, chairman Pacific Asia Travel Association Pakistan chapter, member Education Authority Pacific Asia Travel Association, consultant to the World Tourism Organization on Silk Route project and honorary treasurer of Asia Squash Racket Federation.
