SWABI: Three people were killed in separate incidents here on Tuesday.

Police said two brothers, including Zahoor Khan and Sarwar Khan, allegedly stabbed their cousin, Fazal Sattar, in their tobacco fields over an irrigation water dispute in Yar Hussain village.

They said the attack critically injured Sattar, who succumbed to his injuries at the Yar Hussain Civil Hospital.

The police said they had registered an FIR against the accused and started an investigation.

Also, a man was found dead in the Kotha village of Topi tehsil.

He was brutally murdered before the body was thrown in the field. The rescue team recovered the body, according to officials. They said a search for the deceased’s family was under way.

Meanwhile, a boy killed himself by jumping into the Indus River near Topi.

The police identified the deceased as Mohammad Tauseef, 17. The rescue teams started an operation to recover the body.
