LAHORE: Police have registered a case against five people in connection with the alleged rape of a female social media activist.

Reports said victim girl (A) told the police that suspect ‘S’ approached her through her social media account and became her close friend.

She said the suspect used to take her to some restaurants of the city where they would spend some time besides having food.

Meanwhile, the girl said, the suspect asked her to reach his house in a private housing society at Raiwind Road and she visited there as she trusted him.

The female social media activist told the police that the suspect mixed some sedatives in the food and allegedly raped her at his house when she turned unconscious.

She came to know about the act of her friend when she came back home and then preferred to stay silent.

However, later it was revealed that the suspect had recorded the act when he sent on her mobile phone one of the explicit videos.

As she approached and requested him to delete the videos for the sake of her respect, the suspect promised to do so and began to blackmail her for physical relations.

Meanwhile, he allegedly raped her twice and then refused to delete the videos, she said.

Finally, he showed the video clips to her (victim) elder sister.

She said she went to his (S) home along with his sister where his four accomplices famous YouTuber ‘R’, ‘M’, ‘J’, and ‘Jh’ were already present.

The suspects locked the victim and her sister in a room, harassed them and then deleted the video clips from her (victim) mobile phone.

The suspects then released them, hurling serious life threats, she said, and asked the police to take action against them under the law.

The Nawab Town police lodged a criminal case and nominated all the suspects, with no arrest so far.
