KARACHI: Consul General of Italy in Karachi Fabrizio Bielli has highlighted the strong and friendly cooperation between Rome and Islamabad, particularly in the economic and commercial fields.

He said this while speaking at an event he hosted in connection with the Italian National Day 2025 celebrations.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, MNA Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, Faryal Talpur and other distinguished guests attended the event.

In his welcome speech, the Italian diplomat expressed his gratitude to all the guests.

According to a press release, to make the occasion special, the consulate of Italy invited Chef Vincenzo De Liso from Italy to host an extraordinary evening of Italian gastronomical excellence and culinary heritage with a specially curated menu for the guests.

The consul general took the opportunity to share with the gathering the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Emirates Airlines and Consulate of Italy with the aim to enhance economic and commercial activities.

Consul General Bielli invited Ms Bhutto-Zardari, along with Ms Talpur and the CM, to join him on stage to announce the winners for the exclusive lucky draw by Versace.
