Israeli settlers, accompanied by soldiers, have set fire to a home in the town of Bruqin in the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reports, citing the Wafa news agency.

Wafa reported that settlers set fire to the home of Yafi Barakat, a local Palestinian resident, and that Israeli soldiers who accompanied the assailants fired live bullets and tear gas at residents who tried to stop the attack.

Israeli soldiers also raided the nearby villages of Yasuf and Iskaka.

Wafa further said that Israeli soldiers shot a 16-year-old boy, injuring his foot, during a raid on the Old City of Nablus. He was taken to a hospital.

Israeli forces also fired tear gas and sound bombs in the area.
