Khurram to compete in Egypt

KARACHI, May 6: Top Pakistani shooter, Khurram Inam, will take part in Shotgun World Cup to be held in Egypt later this month.

A National Rifle Association (NRA) official said on Saturday that Khurram who represented the country in 2000 (Sydney) and 2004 (Athens) Olympic games will vie in the coveted event to be held from May 16 to 25.

Khalid Javed, secretary of NRA, said that Khurram was an experienced shooter and Pakistan expect him to do well in the World Cup which would see in action some of the globe's top shotgun shooters.

The secretary said that country's top shooters would be seen in the Islamabad Open to be held in July.

He said that the Pakistani shooters' team that is to embark on a training tour of China would be back ahead of the Islamabad Open.—PPI
