FAISALABAD, May 6: PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has urged his party cadre to shun its petty differences and launch a vigorous campaign against the present rulers for toppling the elected government of the PML-N.

The message of the former premier was conveyed by Punjab PML-N president Sardar Zulfikar Ali Khan Khosa to participants of a PML-N convention held at the local Press Club on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, MNA Mamona Hashmi said that the struggle launched under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif would continue till the restoration of true democracy, implementation of labour laws, protection of lives and properties of the people and rights of farmers.

Deputy opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Rana Sanaullah Khan said that joint opposition parties would launch a massive struggle against the government after finalising an alliance between the ARD and other parties.

District PML president Chaudhry Safdar Rehman, MNA Raja Nadir Pervaiz, MPAs Sheikh Muhammad Ijaz and Khalid Mansoor, former MNAs M. Hamza, Mian Abdul Mannan, Mian Muhammad Farooq, Chaudhry Jaafar Iqbal, Rai Salahuddin, PML women wing leaders Najma Hameed and Zakya Shah Nawaz also spoke.
