The prime minister has also announced a package for those who were martyred during the period of conflict with India called Marka-i-Haq, APP reports.

The heirs of civilians who were slain during Marka-i-Haq will be given Rs10 million and the injured will be given Rs1-2m.

The heirs of martyrs of the armed forces will be given Rs10-18m according to their rank and Rs19-42m for the facility of a house.

The families of military martyrs will continue to receive their complete salary, including allowances, till the date of retirement.

The children of the armed forces’ martyrs will be provided free education till graduation, while one daughter of every martyr will be given a marriage grant of Rs1m for the wedding.

The injured in the armed forces will receive Rs2-5m.
