LAHORE: A private limited company on Monday opened the registration for the Pakistan Spelling Bee (PSB) nationwide for the students of grade 3 to 10 and any school and individual candidates can register online at pakistanspellingbee.com.

The Stoykit had launched the PSB nationwide competition in 2022 and its first contest was held in 2023 and participated in by over 6,000 students. The second PSB competition was held in 2024 and was participated in by over 12,000 students.

The third edition of the PSB will be held from July 2025 to February 2026, for both English and Urdu languages, and will see regional championships held in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot and other cities. The Pakistan Spelling Bee is organised by the education company Storykit.

The Pakistan Spelling Bee Show will be broadcast live and the new feature selected participants from past and present competitions who will compete for top prizes.

A cash prize worth Rs1.4 million will be given out to the PSB National Championship winners and a reward will also be given to school activity coordinators for meeting enrollment targets for the 2025-2026 competition.

PSB Executive Director and Storykit CEO and founder Musharraf Ali Farooqi mentioned that last year, over 12,000 students participated in the competition from public and private schools.
