DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Four security personnel were abducted by unidentified armed men in Tank district on Friday.

The incident occurred on Amakhel-Pai Road, officials said.

A police official confirmed the incident and said that all the abducted men hailed from Daraki area and included personnel from both the Pakistan Army and Frontier Constabulary. The kidnapped personnel have been identified as Adnan, Shoaib, Rizwan and Khaniye.

Following the incident, law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation.

The police said that investigations were ongoing and multiple leads were being followed to trace the kidnappers and ensure the safe recovery of the missing personnel.

Local residents expressed concern about the deteriorating security situation in the region and called on the government and security forces to act swiftly to ensure early recovery of the abducted men.

Police officials expressed hope for a breakthrough in the case soon, saying that all available resources were being deployed to rescue the abducted individuals.
