TAXILA: Four persons were killed in four different incidents in various parts of Attock, among them three cases were reported from Fatehjang Police station limits on Saturday, police and rescue sources said.

In the first incident, a man was gunned down in broad daylight in a target killing case at College Chowk on Kohat road in the limits of Fatehjang Police Station. Police sources said that 25-year-old Zaib Iqbal was going to his house when two persons riding on a motorcycle intercepted him, showered bullets at him, and fled away successfully.

It may be mentioned here that four people were killed and one injured in different target killing cases in the city during the last four days, while the police seem to be in deep slumber.

Moreover, a teenage boy drowns in a mini dam in the Gali Jagir area in the limits of the same police station. Police and rescue sources said that 15-years-old Hasham Qadous went to a local dam to beat the heat where he drowned. Later, rescue 1122 retrieved the body and shifted to tehsil headquarters hospital for autopsy.

Meanwhile, a passenger train ran over a man near Jaffar Railway Station in the same police station. Police sources said Zaib Iqbal was crossing the railway line when Multan-bound Thal express coming from Rawalpindi ran over him, resultantly he died on the spot. Moreover, a 25-year-old electrician died from the roof of a house due to not observing safety measures in Mehria town locality in the limits of Attock city Police station.

Police and rescue sources said that Shahid Ali was installing a solar panel over a house when he slipped and died on the spot due to head injury. Respective Police registered separate cases and launched further investigation.
