KARACHI, May 2: Opener Jawaid Gohar slammed a match winning unbeaten 83 to steer A.O. Blues into the semifinal of KCCA Inter-club cricket championship when they whipped Tapal CC (TCC) by eight wickets at Landhi Gymkhana Ground on Monday.

Jawaid hit seven boundaries as A.O. Blues reached the target in 21st over for the loss of just two wickets. Tasawar Abbas hit sixfours in his 48.

Earlier, batting first, Tapal CC were crashed to 139 all out in 37th over. Bilal Lassi made 40 with five hits to the ropes and Adeel Malik got 35 with four boundaries.
