KOHAT: A swimming pool was inaugurated at the Kohat Sports Complex by orphan children here.

After inauguration of the swimming pool, a friendly swimming competition was also organised among orphan children, who showed great enthusiasm and displayed their sporting skills, according to a statement issued here on Saturday.

MNA Shehryar Afridi, deputy commissioner Abdul Akram Chitrali, former general secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, South KP, Malik Iqbal, and others were present.

They said that the swimming pool would promote the spirit of healthy competition among children.
