QUETTA, May 1: Governor Owais Ahmad Ghani has said that the government will utilise all available resources to restore power supply at the earliest.

In a statement issued here on Monday, the governor directed the Qesco authorities to work round-the-clock for early resumption of electricity supply.

The power supply from 220kv transmission line was disrupted due to damages caused to three towers by storm in Bakhtiarabad area of the Sibi district on Saturday.

Fifteen districts of the province, including the provincial capital, have been affected. Qesco has announced loadshedding to meet the power shortage.—APP
