MUZAFFARGARH: Jatoi police claimed on Monday to have arrested a suspect who allegedly killed a six-year-old boy and threw his body in sunflower fields.

Jatoi police were informed that the body of a child had been discovered in a sunflower field. The station house officer (SHO) of Jatoi responded promptly. A murder case was registered against unknown person.

Eventually, police tracked down a young man from the same village who had been missing since the time of the incident. After locating him, he was taken into custody. The suspect confessed to committing the crime.

As per investigation, the suspect identified as Nouman - a neighbour of the victim - allegedly killed the child over a domestic dispute.

ACCIDENT: A man died and eight passengers injured in an accident on Monday near Jatoi grid station.

According to reports, a speeding van collided with the motorcycle and overturned.

The motorcycle rider died on the spot, while eight passengers sustained serious injuries.
