A fierce exchange of fire took place between the terrosits and security forces during wihch all nine terorists were gunned down.

Weapons and explosives were also recovered from the site.

The operation has avenged this heinous crime, bringing the key perpetrator to justice. A search and clearance operation is ongoing in the area to eliminate any remaining threats.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised the security forces for the successful operation.

“The security forces thwarted the nefarious designs of these militants with timely and effective action,” said the minister.

“We salute the forces for sending these terrorists to hell.”

Mr Naqvi added that the entire nation stood united behind its brave and professional security forces in the pursuit of lasting peace.
