TOBA TEK SINGH: Eight people allegedly gang-raped a 15-year-old maid in Malikpura Muhallah, in Faisalabad, for five days, police said on Friday.

Her mother said in the FIR, registered by Faisalabad Saddar police under section 375-A of PPC, that she had handed over her daughter to a woman as maid in Nawab Colony on Feb 28. She alleged the woman handed over her daughter to some other people who gang-raped her from March 3 to 8.

She said in the FIR when she went to see her daughter on March 9, she told her that eight people had raped her for five days and filmed the act to blackmail her.

The complainant said she had learnt that the accused used to lure innocent girls for jobs, raped them and later sell them to other people.

City police spokesperson said on Friday night that the main accused had been arrested and a search for his accomplices was on.
