KARACHI, April 29: Six prominent teams from the country will take part in National Junior Baseball Championship to be played at Gujranwala next month, a top official of Pakistan Baseball Federation said on Saturday.

PBF vice-president Javed Yousuf said the event would be held in second week of May while dates would be finalised after receiving confirmation from the participating teams.

Punjab Baseball Association secretary Ejaz Siddiqui would be tournament coordinator while Abdul Muttalib Khan would serve as tournament director.

Meanwhile, PBF would be organising coaching camps next month in all the four provinces to groom youngsters.

International players Naushad Ahmed Khan and Bashir Ahmed would supervise the camps.—PPI
