KHAIRPUR: 40 farmers booked

KHAIRPUR, April 28: Police on Friday registered a case against 40 farmers for attacking two officials of the irrigation department. The officials were repairing Kaichi direct outlet on the Faiz Nahar canal when the farmers objected to their work.

After an exchange of hot words, the farmers attacked the irrigation employees.

As a result, Darogho Allah Bachayo Jamro and Beldar Inayat Solangi were injured.

Other two employees escaped from the scene.

BOOKED: An SDO of Hesco and three other employees were booked by the Thari Mirwah police on the directives of the Sukkur bench of the Sindh High Court.

Complainant Sakina Bhambhan stated in the FIR that on February 14, Hesco staff manhandled her in Neerwani village.
