DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two young men were shot dead on Saturday in Kulachi tehsil over an old enmity.

According to a police official, the deceased have been identified as 17-year-old Abdul Ghafoor Khan and 15-year-old Mohammad Shahid.

In a report filed at Kulachi police station, Shahjahan Khan said that he was heading home with his nephews after buying groceries when Usman, Noman and Amir, sons of Ataullah, opened firing on them in Mohalla Musazai. Meanwhile, police found the body of a woman in a waiting room at Bannu Adda, in the limits of Cantonment police station.

Police said that there were no visible signs of violence on the body of the deceased woman. They said that investigation was under way to determine the cause of her death.

Authorities collected necessary evidence from the scene and transferred the body to district headquarters hospital with the help of Rescue 1122. The woman’s identity and her next of kin are being traced. Police stated that all possible angles were being examined to ascertain the circumstances surrounding her death, though initial findings showed no signs of physical assault.
