KARACHI, April 27: Pakistani men completed their group engagements on a sour note suffering yet another loss in three sets against Kuwait in the World Team table tennis Championship at Bremen, Germany, on Thursday.

Al Hasan Ibrahim whipped Asim Qureshi 11-0, 11-6, 11-7 in the opener.

Kashif Razaq however, fought courageously before bowing down 12-10, 12-10, 12-10 to Al Kandri Ali while Al Bahrani Husain edged out Salim Abbas 11-8, 11-9, 11-8 to grab straight win.

The triumph put Kuwait at the top of the six-team group J with eight points while Pakistan finished at the bottom.

Earlier, Mexico scored a crushing 3-0 over Pakistan in the fourth round match played late Wednesday.

Pakistan will now play classification matches for lower positions.
