LAHORE, April 27: The Punjab government finalised on Thursday arrangements for the Friday (today) visit of ambassadors of some 40 countries who would be given a dinner reception at the Lahore Fort after a briefing on major initiatives taken by Punjab in different sectors.

Ambassadors would be accompanied by their wives. Their visit to the provincial metropolis has been arranged by the foreign affairs ministry.

Secretaries of different departments remained busy throughout Thursday in preparing the briefing which would be given (to the ambassadors) by Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.

In the evening, the chief minister and senior government officials visited the fort to review arrangements.
