Man kills second wife with the help of first one

SARGODHA: A man along with his first wife killed his second wife in Sahiwal for her failure to conceive.

The police arrested the couple.

According to sources, Shahid married Ayesha Bibi after his first wife Shamaila Bibi was unable to conceive. Shahid killed Ayesha with the help of his first wife.

The Sahiwal police arrested both Shahid and Shamaila.

HONOUR KILLING: Takhanwala Police traced the murder of a woman and discovered it was an honour killing.

Farooqa police post in charge Sub-Inspector Lateef Farooq along with his team arrested three suspects, identified as Hafeez, Imran and Sarfaraz for Shahnaz in the name of honour.

ARRESTED: Two robbers from Kot Momin were arrested after being caught and beaten by the public while fleeing after robbing a fertiliser dealer on Ajnala Road.

According to police sources, the suspects were handed over to the SHO of the Sadar police station, who later shifted them to the Bhagtanwala SHO.

The police tried to show that suspects, armed with firearms and riding a motorcycle, were eventually arrested near 82 Chak within the limits of Jhal Chakian police.

During the incident, a person sustained a gunshot wound to the head and succumbed to his injuries.

Police are investigating the case.
