QUETTA / KHUZDAR: Hundreds of JUI-F leaders, workers and supporters staged protests and sit-ins on Friday in Quetta and other areas of Balochistan against the killing of two party leaders.

The leaders of JUI-F Balochistan, Wadera Ghulam Sarwar and Molvi Amanullah, were shot dead in Khuzdar district last Saturday.

They were on their way home in the Tarsani area of Zehri when unknown assailants riding motorcycles opened fire on them.

The protest call against the killing was given by Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey, the provincial emir of JUI-F, Balochistan.

In Quetta, the JUI-F workers marched on different roads and streets carrying party flags, placards and banners.

Various party leaders also addressed the protesters when they reached the Quetta Press Club.

They condemned the killing of JUI-F leaders and said the government has failed to protect the lives and property of people.

The government has lost its writ due to its wrong polices, the protesters claimed. They demanded the immediate arrest of the killers of the JUI-F leaders.

The protests were held in Dera Murad Jamali, Dera Allahyar, Khuzdar, Chaman, Musakhail, Zhob, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Loralai and Qila Saifullah.
