US holds secret talks with Hamas on Gaza hostages, Axios reports

The Trump administration has been conducting secret talks with Hamas on the possibility of releasing US hostages being held in Gaza, Reuters reports, according to Axios, who cited two unnamed sources with direct knowledge of the talks.

US special envoy for hostage affairs Adam Boehler has been holding direct talks with Hamas in recent weeks in Doha, the report said.
