GILGIT, April 25: President Gen Pervez Musharraf is expected to visit the proposed Diamer-Bhasha dam site on Wednesday and inaugurate the project.
A large number of civilian and army officials from Northern Areas on Tuesday proceeded to Bhasha village, 165kms south of Gilgit, to finalise arrangements.
The president thrice postponed his visit to the site due either to engagement or bad weather.
No journalist from Northern Areas has been invited to cover the event.
