The 28th batch of patients and wounded Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip via the Rafah land crossing, Al Jazeera reports.

After all arrangements were completed, the evacuation convoy departed from the European Hospital in Khan Younis.

Ambulances from the Palestinian Red Crescent are participating in the evacuation process and will help transport difficult cases, especially amputees injured during Israel’s war on Gaza and cancer patients.

According to the terms of the ceasefire, 150 patients should be allowed to cross daily, with three people to accompany each patient. However, Israel has delayed the departure of many patients, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
