Five die on road

LAHORE, April 25: Four brothers and their mother died, while the family head was critically injured when their car collided with a trailer at Manga Mandi by-pass on Tuesday.

Police said the family was going to Sialkot from Multan when the accident occurred.

As a result, Arif, Kashif, Aqib, Atif and their mother Azra died on the spot, while their Father Razzaq sustained injuries. He was rushed to the Jinnah Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the trailer fled from the scene after the accident.

Police have registered a case against the trailer driver and impounded the vehicle.—APP
