LAHORE: Pakistan Railways (PR) has upgraded the Shah Hussain Express with modern passengers coaches. The new coaches have luxury seats, dining cars, toilets and other facilities.

The train with upgraded version is all set to operate between Lahore-Karachi from Tuesday.

NEW IG: Muhammad Tahir Rai on Monday took over as the 28th inspector general of Railways Police.

On arrival, the IG received a reception by officers of CPO. The Railways Police squad presented the salutation to IG and later on, he laid a floral wreath on martyrs memorial and offered Fateha.

The new police chief said the security of the passengers will be top priority of the Railways Police. He said misbehaving with any passenger would not be tolerated.

Mr Rai belongs to the 21st Common of the Police Service of Pakistan. He previously held top positions as National Police Bureau director general, National Coordinator of Nacta, FIA DG and Balochistan IG.
