PESHAWAR: Five persons were killed over an old enmity in Badhber area on the outskirts of the provincial capital on Friday night.

According to a statement issued by the city police, a local resident, Arshad lodged a case with Badhber police, accusing Imtiaz, Ali Gohar, Sarfaraz and Shoeb for opening fire and killing five persons of his family, including Malik Aman, Naheed, Maqsood, Imdad and Raazam, residents of Mashkhel area of Badhber.

The statement said that the police reached the spot and dispatched the bodies for postmortem.

The police started conducting raids to arrest the accused persons.
