MUZAFFARABAD, April 23: A pen-down strike by employees of the AJK audit department against the attitude of their director-general continued for the sixth day on Saturday.
The striking employees complained that the DG’s attitude had been disrespectful. “We are not going to resume our duties unless the official is transferred,” an employee said.
AJK council secretariat Deputy Secretary Qaiser Majid Malick and Section Officer Ghulam Mohammad visited Muzaffarabad on Friday to probe into the issue.—Staff Correspondent
