Two Palestinian owners of a bookshop in occupied East Jerusalem have been freed from Israeli detention, according to Palestinian media outlet Arab 48, Al Jazeera reports.
Ahmad Muna and Mahmoud Muna were detained on Sunday after the renowned Educational Bookshop was raided by Israeli police who claimed that several books — including a children’s colouring book — incited “terrorism”.
Nasser Awda, a lawyer for Ahmad Muna and Mahmoud Muna, told Arab 48 that the court ordered the two men be placed under house arrest for five days, and that they not allowed to return to their bookstore for 20 days.
