KARACHI: The body of a young woman with her throat slashed was found from a home in Orangi Town, Sector-5 near Siddiq-i-Akbar Masjid late on Thursday night.
Pirabad police SHO Imtiaz Mirjat said that a bad smell emanating from the house alerted neighbours who informed the police about their suspicion.
The police broke the lock of the door and found the body of a woman lying there with knife wounds. It appeared that the woman had died four or five days ago.
