Israel’s UN envoy has said his country will “stand with” the United States and “not participate” in the UN Human Rights Council, accusing the body of “moral failure”, according to Al Jazeera.

“The UN Human Rights Council is a biased body that is obsessively focused on attacking Israel,” said Danny Danon, in a post on X.

“We will not support a council that has long abandoned its moral compass.”

Trump signed an executive order announcing the US would leave the council earlier on the same day Netanyahu visited the White House.
