KARACHI, April 22: The EDO Health, Dr Khalid Shaikh, and Dr Abul Jabbar, on the directives of the city nazim, visited the Burns Centre of the Civil Hospital on Saturday to inquire the health of Azam, a fireman who had got injured while extinguishing fire at a PMT in Site Town a few days back.

The EDO also met Dr Shariq, In-charge Burns Centre, to get information about the injured fireman.

He delivered the city nazim’s message to the fireman and said the city nazim had ordered to bear all his medical expenses.

He said the city nazim had said that honest employees were assets of the nation and their suffering was actually the suffering of the country.

Dr Khalid Shaikh directed the doctors and paramedical staff to pay special attention to the fireman.—PPI
