BAHAWALPUR: In a gruesome murder case, Multan police found the slit-throat body of a seven-year old girl from a garbage heap in the area of Chah Jannoowala on Thursday.

According to police sources, when a police team reached the scene following an information, the girl’s body was lying on the garbage heap. It appeared that her throat was slit with a sharp-edged weapon.

The deceased was identified as Shabon Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad Sadiq and resident of Vehari Road in Multan.

Police shifted her body to the Nishtar Hospital for autopsy.

GANG-RAPE: Three people of a seminary allegedly gang-raped a 13-year-old student in Baloch Chowk area in Peer Colony, in the limits of Shah Shams police station, Multan.

According to police, on the complaint of victim’s father a rape case been registered against a seminary teacher and his two accomplices.

Police took the boy to a hospital for medical examination. Three rapists were yet to be arrested.
