Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is visiting Qatar today to meet leaders of Hamas, AFP quotes a ministry statement as saying.

It said he would meet senior Hamas officials “to hail the victory of the Palestinian people through 16 months of legendary resistance” in the Gaza Strip.

On Tuesday, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Gaza had brought Israel “to its knees” in the conflict.

“The small, limited Gaza brought the Zionist regime, armed to the teeth and fully supported by America, to its knees,” Khamenei said during a meeting in Tehran.
