The Israeli military’s ongoing raid in the West Bank’s Jenin refugee camp, where 2,000 families are already displaced, has rendered it “nearly uninhabitable”, according to Roland Friedrich, the director of UNRWA affairs for the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reports.

The scale of the operation has made it impossible for UNRWA to provide “full services to the camp” right now, Friedrich added on X, noting that new Israeli restrictions on UNRWA set to come into effect in a week will further “undermine” the agency’s mission.
