Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, assuring maximum contribution to the reconstruction phase of Gaza following the ceasefire deal, APP reports.

The prime minister, in his televised opening remarks at the federal cabinet meeting, said that the ceasefire followed the killing of Palestinians and the destruction of cities.

Additionally, he expressed hope that the temporary ceasefire will turn into a permanent truce, recalling that Pakistan had sent relief goods for the Palestinian people despite immense difficulties and challenges.
