Muhannad Hadi, the UN’s humanitarian coordinator for the occupied Palestinian territory, says aid groups have ramped up their readiness ahead of the ceasefire and “stand ready to leverage this opportunity for large-scale relief, as every second counts”, Al Jazeera reports.
Hadi also reaffirmed his commitment to a successful implementation of the ceasefire deal. “We remain equally dedicated to supporting efforts that pave the way for a second phase and a peaceful resolution of the conflict,” he said.
