Eight Israeli soldiers from the Givati Brigade were wounded after an improvised explosive device detonated in northern Jabalia, Al Jazeera reports citing broadcaster Kan.
It said three of them sustained serious injuries.
Kan said the Israeli military had informed the families about the incident but did not publicise it.
The report comes as the military announced that at least four soldiers were killed and several others wounded in fighting in Beit Hanoon on Saturday.
