Israeli soldiers have stormed two homes in the village of Artas, south of Bethlehem in the Occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reports.

Local sources told the Wafa news agency that troops entered the village and raided the homes of Mohammad Nadi Ayash and Khaled Walid Ayash.

A military checkpoint was set up at the southern entrance and another erected at the Aqaba Hasana area, at the western entrance to the Bethlehem governorate.
