KOHAT, April 17: Tribesmen blocked the Indus Highway in Darra Adamkhel on Monday in protest against the killing of a man belonging to the Akhurwal tribe.

The tribesmen blocked the road after the body of Noor Ahmad, who was kidnapped one month ago from Darra Adamkhel, was found in the Mattani area on the outskirts of Peshawar on Monday morning.

Political authorities of Kohat Frontier Region tried to persuade the tribesmen to lift the blockade but they refused and demanded immediate arrest of the killers.—Correspondent
