KARACHI, April 17: On the directive of the Baldia Town Nazim Kamran Akhtar, the municipal administration removed encroachments from various areas of the town.

According to a statement issued here on Monday, several cemented and semi-cemented structures were demolished during the operation in Baldia Town UC-3, sector 9-C and Rashidabad UC-8.

The town nazim said that encroachment leading to interruption of traffic flow would not be tolerated.

He said sensible people should refrain from establishing encroachments for collective interests.
