TOBA TEK SINGH: Two brothers suffered critical burns in fireworks blast at their house located on Mai Mastani-Makkuana Road at Faisalabad on Sunday night.

Both Usman Maalik (26) and Hamza Maalik (22) were shifted to burn unit of Allied hospital. Both were reportedly manufacturing fireworks when the blast occurred.

BURNT: A woman was burnt seriously after her husband poured boiled water on her in his house located near Panjtani Chow in locality of Mansoor Abad at Faisalabad five days ago and locked her in a room.

Victim Tahira informed Mansoorabad police that she managed to send message to her brothers in Layyah who came on Sunday evening and rescued her. In her FIR registered under section 336-B of PPC, Tahira claimed that her husband Shahid Jat used to beat her daily to force her to call her brothers to send money and when she refused, he put on her body boiled water as a result she burnt critically. Police have arrested the suspect.
