KARACHI: Senior puisne judge of the Sindh High Court Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto took the oath as the acting chief justice of the SHC on Tuesday.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori administered the oath in a simple ceremony held at Governor House.

The event was attended by SHC judges, representatives of the legal fraternity including Karachi Bar Association president Aamir Nawaz Warraich and other distinguished guests.

Justice Phulpoto will remain acting chief justice during the leave period of SHC Chief Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui.
