Hezam al-Asad has pledged to continue attacks on Israel after Netanyahu told Israeli legislators that he had ordered the country’s military to destroy Houthi infrastructure in Yemen, Al Jazeera reports.

Al-Asad, a member of the Houthis’ Supreme Political Council, wrote on X: “We will not stop until the aggression against our people in Gaza stops. Netanyahu will know that the dreams of the new Middle East are nothing but a punishment for him and his imported entity.”

The Houthis have been launching missile and drone attacks on Israel as well as merchant vessels in the Red Sea in a campaign aimed at pressuring Israeli authorities to agree to a ceasefire in Gaza, Al Jazeera notes.
