Following a missile launched by Yemeni Houthi forces last night, the IDF stated they are investigating whether the interception was successful, Haaretz reports.
An elementary school in the central Israeli city of Ramat Gan was severely damaged by what seems to be interception debris. The IDF are checking whether fragments of the missile also hit the school building.
The Ramat Gan municipality stated that the main building of the school collapsed and that the institution will remain closed until further notice. Additionally, several cars and nearby buildings were damaged.
The fire department reported that no fire broke out following the strike and that no one was injured.
